Well I borrowed the Title from the "Book Of Lists" which is a best seller worldwide. It looks as though many people (including myself) enjoy submitting lists to the site, whether they be lists of Facts or Opinions. I thought we might try a thread in which we could share these. - Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash

- The Beatles disbanding

- Roger Waters leaving Pink Floyd

- John Lennon getting shot

- Jimi Hendrix dying

If you look back far enough, another truly traumatizing moment was "The Day Rock & Roll Died" these guys all helped pave the way for R&R music.

Another one I would add is John Bonham's death, which is basically what killed Zeppelin, I know their music had lost it's original glory, but a few more albums would've produced a few more ZepTunes worth listening to. Even "ITtOD" had it's memorable songs, including "Fool in the Rain"

Yeah, 10 isn't really enough. It was hard enough finding the best 10 to think of.

Well, I was going to use this in my Knowledge Quiz, but their first three records all went to #1 in Britain - a feat not repeated until 1997 by the Spice Girls. SOMEONE must like them Daniel. I DO !
