Good post Viaene. I don't know either why the Chartmakers do that. Here's a bit of a Timeline of Billboard's R & B Singles Charts. * Commenced in 1942 as "HARLEM HIT PARADE" * Title changed in 1945 to "JUKE BOX RACE RECORDS" * 1949 to "RHYTHM & BLUES" * 1958 to "HOT R&B CHART" * Chart discontinued late 1963, recommenced early 1965 * Title changed in 1969 to "SOUL SINGLES" * 1982 to "BLACK SINGLES" * 1990 to "R&B SINGLES" * 1999 to "R&B/HIP-HOP" and album tracks are included as well as Singles. ..................................................
