Batman Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 who would it be? I would say John Paul Jones. From what I know, he had/has a normal life. He was also in my favorite band, and is a great musician, very multi-talented, and underrated. I would want to be underrated, that way, nobody would ever complain about me being overated. Also, Led Zeppelin wasn't the type of band that was constantly getting into fights with each other.
MindCrime Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 I'm sticking with Tommy Lee Haha Seriously though, probably someone along the lines of..... I agree with Batman, John Paul Jones would be perfect, maybe it's the reason of not being over rated, or the fact that I want to be in Led Zeppelin. Another one would be Ozzy Osbourne, except I would have the balls to tell my wife, that I don't want to do a #@$%&! TV show.
cosmosis Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Any member from Spinal Tap... if the money's good.
Danielj Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Dave Grohl is definetly cool. John Paul Jones...Yeah. I think I'd be Neil Young. Gotta be a Canadian boy plus he influenced generations. Worked with Stephen Stills, Was subliminally referenced to in Cobain's suicide note and just made GREAT Rock n' Roll music.
_jr_ Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Stevie Ray.... Except for the being dead part.
Jugband_Blues Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 i wouldve always loved to have keith moon of john bonhams abilities on the drums ...only i wouldnt go getting my self killed prematurely. ringos not bad either, except he was in a coma when he was a kid. but hes a living member of the beatles who had the best parts in all their movies.
Madison21417 Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 I would be Freddy Mercury(Queen)
Aunt_Acid Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Roger Waters. I'm well on way to becoming him. The insane part.
Costellogirl75 Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Do we have to be someone of our same gender? Do we have to be someone alive? Here is who I would be: Male/Not Alive-Keith Moon Male/Alive-David Bowie Female/Not Alive-Janis Joplin Female/Alive-Joni Mitchell
Catherine Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Female (alive): Pat Benatar...tremendously talented - what a voice, a gorgeous husband (oh wait, I already have one of those)...and she looks amazing herself! Male (deceased): Jim Morrison - he was an enigma. I'd love to see the world through his eyes; to feel what he felt, to think what he thought, to know what made him tick, and what drove his creativity...to understand what many people were confounded by, in awe of, and at times afraid of. I'd like to know what Jim was afraid of.
_Jayson_ Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Dave Navarro - only because his wife is really, really hot.
MindCrime Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Why is it all the females are listing both male & female, yet the males will only list male. If I could be any female rock star, it would be Joan Jett, I think I like her personality the best.
Batman Posted September 21, 2004 Author Report Posted September 21, 2004 Do we have to be someone alive? No, being alive is just a perk!
Catherine Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Why is it all the females are listing both male & female, yet the males will only list male. If I could be any female rock star, it would be Joan Jett, I think I like her personality the best. I think what you just posted is awesome -- very cool!
miamisammy29 Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Keith F***in' Richards, man....huh,huh.huh....
Eggplant Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Bono When the Police were still around, I wanted to be Sting. Not anymore....too AC for my taste now.
XXX Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Bryan Ferry :: David Sylvian :: Chris Isaak ::
cosmosis Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 or maybe Lee Ranaldo from Sonic Youth so I can play on small pubs and go crazy making noise on the guitar. My audience would be laid back and mature enough so I could go out like a normal person and not be bothered too much but still make a more than decent living.
XXX Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Ah! The virtue of not fully selling out ::
ImThatGuyToo Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 This looks like fun. I'd want to be Jimmy Page or Jim Morrison. Female- Pamela Harrison. I know she's not a rock star, but what the hell.
Foxy Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Hmm...think I would be Male: Lyndsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac or Alice Cooper. Female: Stevie Nicks or Kate Bush (when she was successful..)
scoobydoobie Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I would be Lita Ford I would check myself out all day long........Oh Yeah.
MuzikTyme Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I could see being Elvis one night in his prime. I'm starting to wonder about some of these guys fantasizing about being women...
