TheLizard
General Top Ten Announcement As cool as our new ability to embed Youtube videos in threads is, it would be very helpful for the Top Ten staff if we reverted back to providing links for our nominations instead of embedding them. This will make it easier for us to provide correct names, artists, and dates and easier for Lea to put together the playlist. This is not aimed at anybody and we are not upset with anybody, it is merely a request to make this game easier and more streamlined for everybody involved. Thank you, and have a pleasant tomorrow. bazooka
As cool as our new ability to embed Youtube videos in threads is, it would be very helpful for the Top Ten staff if we reverted back to providing links for our nominations instead of embedding them. This ... is merely a request to make this game easier and more streamlined for everybody involved. Thank you, and have a pleasant tomorrow. I think that embedding YouTube in this Top Ten setting seems kind of cumbersome. I tried the embedding feature in another thread, just to see how it worked. And it was very cool! But here, for whatever weird reason, I like the less-cluttered feel of just posting links (and it probably means fewer pages to sort through). pinkstones
I don't like the embedding of videos either. There's no need to so, IMO. If you want watch the video someone linked to....just click on it. I agree with TheLizard -- it makes the thread cluttered and frankly, disjointed. miamisammy29
"You're The Best" - Bill Conti (1984) Sorry, my bad. Lucky pointed this out to me... The performer of "You're The Best" is actually some dude named Joe Esposito. Bill Conti is the writer and producer. Thanks again for the links, Lea.
