Dappled
Wow! How is that one not yet there? I would have had it high, if not top spot, on the very first TT. I guess everyone has assumed (like me) that it's already there... LeeBB
13. Things We Said Today - The Beatles (1964) 36 22. Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles (1967) 29 Actually, I will just say that the results for these two songs are very interesting. I'm having a mental block, obviously, because I can't even remember how "Things We Said Today" goes. Maybe I'm getting old... EDIT: Okay, I had to look up the lyrics. Mental equilibirum restored. c_s_1987
Whenever we get to a milestone Top Ten, I wish I had participated in Top Ten #1. I started not to long afterwards, though. I think my first was #7 or 8. My first nomination is an excellent track from an excellent album called Crime Of The Century: Rudy - Supertramp (1974) And, I guess I might as well follow it up with another excellent track from another excellent album called (What's The Story) Morning Glory: Morning Glory - Oasis (1995)
Lucky
So it took 100 more top tens for someone to think of Strawberry Fields again! I love to look back at that stuff. Thanks Dap & MC for the reminders of some great songs ... and some tough choices! I used to know, but can't remember now, what our very first #1 was? MindCrime
I remember they both came out around October or November (due to them both receiving heavy airplay on the music video channels). Pink will definitely get a high vote from me, she's my favorite artist of this past decade.
