Nice list Dap  didn't know most of them so it was nice to listen to them. I hadn't heard "Black Girl" in years. Since I was a very young kid anyway and I knew it as "In The Pines".

I'm a big Melanie Safka fan but prefer Her "Stoned Ground Words" and "As I see It Now" albums.

I was thinking about nominating "Mandolin Wind" a couple of weeks ago but didn't think it would do well. Glad to see it here.

Very nice list I really enjoyed it :D

1.Today - Jefferson Airplane

2.Mandolin Wind - Rod Stewart

3.Who'll Stop the Rain - Creedence

7.Down By The River - Buddy Miles

Wow Dap, great list. Took me a lot of listening. Some of the songs I didn't remember but some of them sure brought back memories. I knew Black Girl as In The Pines. Used to sing it all the time but a lot of the words were different. Had forgotten all about Long Long Time. Love that song!! Buffy Sainte-Marie was new to me but I really liked her.

As many others, I'm not familiar with most of the songs either.

I'll certainly try to give them all a listen and vote though.

Just in case I don't - Lars, you are a Prince of a person and one of my best, truest and longest known friends here. Cheers Mate.

P.S. Again Sammy, Sorry I missed your PTT. You're a 'good guy' too.

Dappled should teach radio stations a thing or fifty. This is exactly the kind of 60s/70s stuff I want to hear on the radio more often.
