Viaene
if 'everybody hurts' doesn't make it (most unlikely) I might nominate R.E.M. next time. Now I need to reconsider my nominations.
Farin
(most unlikely) indeed it is I thought about nominating Road Trippin' a few weeks ago, but then we had RHCP two or three weeks in a row, so I'll wait a few more weeks for that
CanAm
In reference to Old 55's request . . . GOLD '79. Two great nominations this week, Marcus!! Both will get my votes. I haven't heard Gold for ages. It brings back a lot of fond memories.

Levis
^ Yay for those! I feel like being obscure(r than usual) Sappy - Nirvana (1993) Although the song was released as a hidden track on a compilation, word of Nirvana's appearance on the disc spread, and soon many people bought the album simply for the hidden track, eventually becoming a frequently requested song at concerts during their 1994 tour of Europe and being played live for the first time in nearly four years. This is evident from a recording of a February 1994 concert in Milan, Italy in which the audience kept requesting the song - bassist Krist Novoselic, after performing it, shouted to the crowd, "Did you hear it on a bootleg? Because it wasn't listed on the album." It's that good
Uncle Joe
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy-The Buckinghams (1967) The fabulous group from Chicago took Cannonball Adderly's jazz classic, put words to it and made it a big hit. More Buckinghams to come later. How Long-Ace (1974) How has this song eluded the Top Tens for this long? How long? Too long!!
