edna Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Oh, no, thank you, Marc... I melt. Then I boil. Then I come back to myself again...
MindCrime Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 It was 110'f last night at 10 PM, it hasn't cooled down much today. I wish Arizona would face an ice storm.
Ombre Vivante Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 It's 106 F right now. Everyone's inside with their a/c full-blast. We just had a five-minute power outage.
MarcM Posted June 22, 2008 Author Report Posted June 22, 2008 I dont know how hot it was at my house today because I have been at work since early this morning. In my 36 mile drive to work, I came accross temps between 75 and 92. At 5AM!
Levis Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I'm thawing in front of a heater I'm still not in the habit of wearing socks (or even shoes) all the time (13 C)
edna Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 We can get some 45ºC here in summer... quite common, by the way...
The Seeker Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Definitely hot enough today... I've got a bit of a sunburn even
Shawna Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 went out to lunch with Andy and sat beneath the air-conditioner vent blowing cold air on me for about an hour. The 109 degree heat was most welcome when we stepped outside, and even getting into the truck, which had to be about 130 inside (after sitting in the sun for a while) felt good to me for about 3 minutes.
edna Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 It´s very cool here, Farin... Yesterday it was even cold.
PSYCHOcatholic Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Is it hot enough for me? Yes, yes it is.
Shawna Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 there's another monsoon afoot in these here parts.
edna Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 I wake up very early and it´s cold. I get into the subway at 10am and it´s cold due to excessive air conditionning. I go to the office and the air is very cold too. I leave at 8 pm, back to the subway, cold again. I wait for the weekend to know if it´s already summer...
Farin Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 it's cooler today and everywhere but here it's raining pretty hard...
Shawna Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 105 here. Going up to Flagstaff tomorrow for the Roger concert. It's only 88 there. Brrrrrr.
MarcM Posted July 4, 2008 Author Report Posted July 4, 2008 lAST TIME i WAS IN fLAGSTAFF, i REMEMBER SOME LOCAL TALKING ABOUT HOW IT HAD SNOWED THERE LAST jULY....WEIRD STUFF.
Mars88 Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 It was stinkin' hot today. 32C, or 90F. It was humid as well, which made it feel more like 36C, or 97F.
Kevin Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 If Saskatchewan gets humid , people , there's some serious sh*t going down ! ( personally , I blame the Swedes ... )
Mars88 Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Kevin, You are so right...I don't remember it being so humid when I was growing up. The heat is definitely more bearable when it's a "dry" heat.
Farin Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 yesterday I had to wear a jacket! what month do we have again?
The Seeker Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 Oh, that's where the sun is... Belgium. No wonder it;s so dark here then
