You know, I had no real idea what a condo is, and up until that post I imagined you to be living in a trailer without wheels

 I wish! Because then all I'd have to do is slap on some wheels and I could get out of this godforsaken place for a while!!!

108'f, but I'm in a mechanic's garage with no AC or fan, and it feels like 120 right now.

I'm willing to put dry-ice on my face and like the scars it leaves behind.

I just returned form Bakersfield, the trip to my dad's. 111 degrees farenheit yesterday, 110 today, and nothing but more of the same in sight. Also that 111 was the "official" temp, at my dad's the thermometer read 115. :P

I feel your pain, Edna. School is always refrigerated to fahrenheit meatlocker. It's a relief to get out of the building so I can sit in my car for ten minutes in the 105+ weather and thaw out.

My garage has become a lizard sanctuary. It must be too hot outside. They keep running up to me, then running away. Especially the little ones.

still stifling in these parts. The temps are hovering around 100, and according to the weather guy - who only has to look outside to predict the weather - it's going to get up to 104 by week's end. I'm tired of it. Never thought I'd say that.

We had summer yesterday, one layer, short sleeves, etc. Today was monsson and winter, never enough layers, fine mist of rain, fingers about to fall off. Ah, Melbourne, do you know what a 'season' is?
