Live at Leeds is the greatest live album ever, and I'm being objective here... :shades:

perhaps if you're a Who fan. Which I'm not. In my humble opinion, "Live From The Green Room" by RCPM is the best live album ever. But no one else would have a clue, so I didn't nominate it. :beatnik:

Actually I've heard a whole lot of people say so, and not just Who fans... music critics included.

Vote for what you want to though... I wasn't that serious anyway. :P ;)

Sorry, no :beatnik:

And what are you people doing, except for Tim? Live at Leeds is the greatest live album ever, and I'm being objective here... :shades:

Ok this is how it is, I'm not trying to get on your good side Fin but, I am willing to replace my AC/DC nom with LAL because I think my vote might be the only one givin for AC/DC so I would consider it as a wasted vote.

I like The Who but I was never a really a huge fan and they do deserve to be on this list :D I only had seven I really liked anyway so LAL will fit in nicely now. If we had done eight I would have added it anyway.

So, buck up :D

The order could actually be rearranged in any way, with Honorable Mention replacing any of them, depending on my mood. :)

"Live At Leeds" is a classic... I think it´s considered as one of the best live albums. I bought my LP in the late sixties? early seventies? :P :P and I still have it (well, the cover was lost long ago, it´s in a sleeve with "Tommy" )

I haven´t heard it in decades, it must not be in great shape by now... but we can´t deny it, it´s a classic.

Wiki says:

Live at Leeds (1970) is The Who's first live album, and is their only live album that was released while the band was still recording and performing regularly. In 2003, the album was ranked number 170 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

It is thought by many to be the best live rock album of all time[1] and is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.[2] It is also included in Q Magazine's list of Loudest Albums of All Time
