Viaene
I say we go with.... 7. That's a number that'll make folks scratch their heads. could it - by pure coincidence - be that you have 7 albums in mind to vote on?
Shawna
actually, no. I just thought of the number... Where I work (a small retail specialty store) we send out mailers with - coupons for 20% off - every 3 months or so, and usually get a pretty good return. A couple of years ago I suggested we offer 22.5% off instead, just because the number was weird and it would make people wonder. Sure 'nuff, we got a bigger response with that one than we had with all the other ones.
_Laurie_
Hehehe...this has nothing to do with the thread, but anyways... A friend of mine use to write odd times on her invitations...like 7:16 pm or 4:08....she said no one ever RSVP'd but when she did that....just about everyone called her back..... The Seeker
I do that with my friends too... we usually agree to pick each other up at 4:57, or 8:23...
skybluesky
If I nominate one, will that help to make it easer for everyone to vote for ten? I'm not into live albums, so I only have one choice.
_Laurie_
Shanny, I bet you could manage to find two...come on, you can doooooo it....
skybluesky
honestly laur, I can't. I don't much like live albums. I can take a suggestion, something someone wanted to nominate but couldn't. The one I managed to think of is good and should be on the list. None of our 70sphiles even mentioned it, and I was probably 3 when it was released. I think (notice the italics) that we shall have a decision, and possibly be opening the voting, for all of you restless folks sometime today, so if you've got something, you'd better get cracking! edna
Did the Beatles' Rooftop Concert ever get released on CD? It´s just three songs, Fin... I guess there must be some bootleg records but it wasn´t worth it making it "official". There are lots of bootleg "let It Be" sessions, I bet the rooftop cncert is in more than one of them...
