Lea Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Awesome nomination, Phil. It doesn't stand a chance though. I hope that won't be the case Uncle Joe I love that song and am going to try really hard to find a spot for it. A lot of people picked some great classics this week and that's not even counting the other great songs we have to choose from. We seriously need to do a few 50's and 60's tens then maybe some of the newer songs posted would stand a better chance of being chosen by us older folk . I just can't bring myself to by pass a great oldies tune in favor of a great newer tune . The 50's, 60's and 70's get me every time

Epiphany Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 What?! Quit already without nominating Zeppelin's "Fool in the Rain" or The Beatles' "Dear Prudence?" What a travesty.
The Seeker Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Well alright... I'll make an exception... you've got till Wednesday to nominate those two songs (hint hint)

Shawna Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 I've got such a weird taste in music Eclectic, Farin. Not weird. That's what I say about my home decor. It's "eclectic."
skybluesky Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 I'm at eight, numbered rather arbitrarily, as any of them could be high on my list.
blind-fitter Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Paul Simon Okay everyone... nominating's closed! We'll start voting two days early You can't do that; I've only got one (of my own nominations) to vote for. Oh, hang on; there is another one.
The Seeker Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Just in case anyone's taking my announcement seriously... I was kidding You can nominate till Wednesday, as usual. And please do, b-f really needs your help...
Farin Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Eclectic, Farin. Not weird. That's what I say about my home decor. It's "eclectic." that's true, last weekend I found out via my last.fm account that I have an "eclectic rating" of 87 (on a scale from 0-100) ... sounds better than "weird rating" too

cyberjudge Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 I was going to nominate Band on the Run, but pushed it til next week in favor of the MLK tribute. A lot of good songs have sat at that #11 spot, including the last 2 weeks: Woman-John Lennon and This Magic Moment-Jay & the Americans
