cyberjudge Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 April 4, 2008 was the 40th anniversary of the untimely assassination of one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In his honor, I would like to open the nominations with 2 musical tributes to Dr. King and the ideals of equality and humanity that he stood for. Dappled Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Love Is Alive -- Gary Wright (1976) It's My Life -- The Animals (1965) [smaller]I think I've tried both these before, but maybe the Songfactor super-delegates can push them through this go-round [/smaller]. Maybe, if we 50 +ers can have our votes counted twice. Can we, Lucky?
Lucky Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 I think we need some sort of arrangement like a Senior Citizens' Special, Dappled, for all you experienced Tenners. Tenners aged 50+ get their vote counted twice. Notice I said all of YOU. Now where are my glasses?? Oops, they're on my head.
Uncle Joe Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Expressway To Your Heart - The Soul Survivors Awesome nomination, Phil. It doesn't stand a chance though.
