I actually think it might be best to start with like 2011 or something, considering that, for all we know, an amazing album might be released in December or something. Maybe do a best of 2012 in January or February?

If a good album is released in December in the US it may not be available to Canadian listeners until early 2013. We don't get anything on time...

OK, I think we all like this idea, but don't want to do a "Best of 2011" just as 2012 is coming to a close. And it's too early to wrap up the year quite yet.

How about this:

In January, we do the Best of 2012, then we go backwards a year for next one.

Until then, how about this idea to tide us over:

Best Band Logo

 This idea works! I guess that's why you're the boss?

I know very little about what was released in 2012 but yes, I know about five or six albums and some ten songs at least :D

I guess songs would be easier for us... at least for those who are not now like I was back in the seventies :D

I like the song thing too, cuz I'm a poor ol fogey who only hears the odd new song but can't afford the album. Worst of all I listen to rock stations that play nothing post-90's (unless it's Canadian).

Basically, I'm down!
