_Laurie_
In honor of last night's most gripping victory, and the complete dismantling of the Cleveland Indians over the last three games, vaulting the Boston Red Sox into the 2007 World Series, I bring you.... "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" - Dropkick Murphys (2005) "The Boston Rag" - Steely Dan (1973) I'm Shipping Up To Boston The Boston Rag
blue_n_white
Had I known this was going to be a World Series top 10 in honor of the fall classic I would have nominated "Rocky Mountain High" and the theme to "Rocky" in honor of the Colorado Rockies incrediable late season/post season run. But I think I will stick with my earlier noms.

_Laurie_
You're very welcome Sammy. I like The Boston Rag song...I don't think I've heard that one before...good tune!
miamisammy29
"I'm Shipping Up To Boston" is actually an old Woody Guthrie-penned song with the Murphys' Irish/Scottish hard rock twist on it. Jonathan Papelbon, the Red Sox closer (and someone for whom I have an unhealthy man-love), comes bolting out of the bullpen with this song blaring on the Fenway Park PA system. It's wicked awesome! MuzikTyme
Did I hear Blur? The shaggable CD, Leisure, is one of my all-time favourites. There's no other way, there's no other way . . .all that you can do is watch them play.

Tenacious_Peaches
"Marlene On The Wall" - Suzanne Vega (1985) I just fell out of my chair. I love, love, love this song, b-f. I can't see videos at work, but I can't wait to go home and check this out. I don't recall a video for the song. I don't see a reason to nominate this week. I may just vote.
