Super Ry 71
Starting batter (): N.I.B. ~ Black Sabbath (1970) Why this hasn't made it yet, I don't know. Heard this a week ago of the radio; it sounded familiar but I didn't know the name. Listen To The Music ~ The Doobie Brothers (1975) A classic of theirs. Only one of two of their songs I've played on my show, and it was the first!

My reasons for putting it at number one went beyond the fact they're Aussies though - it is an awesomely rockin' song! OLD 55
Thanks Lucky. Mine too ! A little diversion.... Here's an Australian 'magician' performing a routine to 'Runaround Sue' on one of our daytime live shows. I think the secret is he has two red balls. OLD 55
You got me on that one Kid Those Southerners are a bit 'different' to us. Never heard of them in Queensland. Just like when I went into a fish shop the first time I ever visited Melbourne, over 40 years ago, and asked what 'Flake' was. The Proprietor and all of the customers burst out laughing, and told me it was shark fillets. I said "you eat bloody shark here ? ".
bluesboy
only temporary audio Good Rocking Tonight - Wynonie Harris (1948) Maggot Brain - Funkadelic (1971) I still remember the first time I heard this song on the radio back in '71...
