OLD 55
Well, we're down a few on nominations, aren't we (Not Joe - I know he's taking a break). I wouldn't like to think that anyone would boycott the Ten because of what happened between Martin and I (or 'what I did to Martin'), and I'm sure he wouldn't either. This is YOUR Top Ten, everybody - not mine. This is not a ploy for sympathy, and I'm not after any messages of 'support'. Goodnight All.
Super Ry 71
Well I would have never thought there was any tension between you and Martin. Hmm... And you ain't gettin' none 'o my sympathy, ploy or otherwise. I got too much trouble to pay any 'tension to you foos anyway.

bazooka
Big Boss Man (or almost any Jimmy Reed!).... bazooka, how did you know?? [smallest]from wikipedia[/smallest]: "Reed was a major player in the field of electric blues, as opposed to the more acoustic-based sound of many of his contemporaries ... The Rolling Stones have cited Reed as a major influence on their sound, and their early set lists comprised many of Reed's songs. The Rolling Stones recorded tracks like Ain't That Loving You Baby , The Sun is Shining , Close Together , Bright Lights Big City , and Shame Shame Shame in 1963 as demos to offer to record companies ... Reed's recordings of Big Boss Man and Bright Lights, Big City were both voted onto the list of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll." Lucky
The above ^^ is probably why The Stones are my favorite rock band. This is my favorite sound. I am at this moment listening to Masters of the Blues-The Best of Jimmy Reed. Baby What You Want Me To Do, and Hush Hush are two more of my personal favorites. Whoop's, here comes Shame Shame Shame....
OLD 55
Welcome back b-f. We hope you enjoyed your Holiday. Also, I meant to thank Lars for his list of renominations. I found out that Cherry, Cherry was a renomination, so I changed it (please see below). I should done a search to see if it was a renom. I do renominate ones of mine that have missed out sometimes, but I don't like 'taking' other people's songs. I put this one in the 'Prospective Nominations' thread a couple of weeks ago. A beautiful song by a great band. Dust In The Wind - Kansas (1977)

c_s_1987
Where were all you Kinks' fans when Katie and I tried repeatedly to get 'Waterloo Sunset' into the Ten ? Or don't you guys/girls like that one ! Gosh, I guess I just assumed that had already made the top ten! I'd put it pretty high on my list. Maybe I hadn't actually heard it until less than a year ago. Once the flames begin to catch, the winds will blow it higher." Flight of the Bumblebee - Luis Moreno Incredible! Biko - that song 'rocks' ! Will be in my top 10 - likely in the top 3!
