Jenny
I'm in a mellow mood today, so here are some mellow songs Thank You - Dido (2001) The first verse of this song was sampled in Eminem's song "Stan" It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over - Lenny Kravitz (1991) A throwback to some old school soul

OLD 55
Darryl, I could definitely nominate it again! I truly do love it. I read somewhere that Neil Finn of Split Enz/Crowded House described it as the most beautiful song ever written. I'll give my 10 Points to Waterloo Sunset to try to get it into the Ten, Katie. It wasn't a Hit Single in the U.S. - maybe not as well known/liked as some of The Kinks' other songs ? It's always been my favorite, with Sunny Afternoon a close second. OLD 55
Hey Lars - we don't want to make the Ten 'from 1840 on'. How about telling us about this Ten's re-nominations please, if you have time ? I'm sure we'd all like to know about them. I think there's quite a few there ! Dappled
How about a special TT with only songs based on classical music, let's see, we have Sabre Dance - Love Sculpture Pictures At An Exhibition - ELP Jerusalem - ELP again Für Elise - Vanilla Fudge hmmm what else....?? OLD 55
No reason that couldn't work ! There's lots of Pop songs based on Classics. A little googling would soon find them ! How about we put that on our future 'Specials' List ?
