miamisammy29 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 Oh ? Is he retarted in this one too , then ? I prefer seeing him act that way . Doesn't he always play a mentally challenged character? It sure seems that way...ever since the Jim Carroll thing - and his mentally and theatrically challenged buddy, Marky Wahlberg, was with him in that one, too.
miamisammy29 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 Oh yeah, and last night I watched "Jackass Number Two"....now there's a bunch of f***ing retards. Not even as good as the original, and that kinda sucked...I laughed a little bit, though...4 out of 10.
Shawna Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Leonardo DiCaprio's best performance since What's Eating Gilbert Grape, I thought Leo DiCaprio in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" was one of the best performances I'd ever seen. By anyone. When another character can steal my attention away from Johnny Depp like that, it's gotta be good.
katie_sane Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 The Queen I loved it, thought it was brilliant acting by Helen Mirren and I hope she wins the Oscar.
Sweet Jane 61 Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Invincable, good movie. Even if you aren't an Eagles fan, you will like this movie. I mean it is about a fan, Vince Papali who got to play for the team. It is a dreams come true movie and you can relate to the people in the movie. Miracle, about the US Hockey Team in the 1980 Plympics. Kurt Russell did great job as Herb Brooks and it is interesting to see what went on to get this team to win the gold. I remember when it actually happened and cried and then I cried again with the movie. Makes you proud to live in the USA. Both of these are good family films too.
_Laurie_ Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Riding The Bullet 2 thumbs up I love Stephen King, but for some reason I never saw this movie untill last night...Love Stephen Kings humour in his movies, especially this one...and there's good 60's tunes through-out the movie also... Awakenings Interesting movie...strange part for DeNiro...but I liked it.
Red Fish Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Lady in the Water - 7/10. I wonder why this was panned. It doesn't have a twist at the end like all of M. Night Shyamalan's stuff, but it was still pretty entertaining and whatnot.
PSYCHOcatholic Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 The Devils Rejects...hmm...6/10. The last scene just kicked major @$$
Red Fish Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 ^Narf. That ruined the movie a bit 'cause it always made me think of Pinky & The Brain.
Jenny Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 I watched "Little Miss Sunshine" last night. It's one of those movies that makes you laugh more afterwards, because at the time, you're just wrapped up in the absurdity of it all. Alan Arkin is a more profane version of Frank Barone and just hilarious. Great cast, great writing and it has a nice little message to it. I give it a 9/10.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Excellent movie, Jenny. Olive's talent made me jump up out of my chair.
Blue Fish Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 I watched Last Holiday a few nights back, I don't have much free-time anymore but hey. I laughed nearly all the way through it, 7/10 as I hated the begaining and I hated the end. The middle was good though!
Farin Posted March 6, 2007 Author Report Posted March 6, 2007 I watched Taxi Driver yesterday... what to say... 9.5/10
Steel2Velvet Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 I watched Taxi Driver yesterday... what to say... You talkin' da me?
Red Fish Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Kung-Fu Hustle - 7/10. It was pretty good, but I wish they'd included more comedy into the fight scenes, cool as they were.
Red Fish Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Double post, oh no!! V for Vendetta - 7.5/10. Pretty good, but it could've done without all the vulgarities.
PSYCHOcatholic Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I watched V for Vendetta as well...i thought it was great! 8/10 Cussing dont bother me that much really, as long as its not GD this and GD that... You gotta admit too...Natalie Portman can pull off the bald girl look WAAAAY better than Britney or Demi.
Kevin Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Is there a rating system for cussing - I mean, just how is one worse than another ?
Kevin Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Yeah , I guess - if you care enough to answer , you rotten motherf***er !
miamisammy29 Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Allright, cut it out, you pr*cks. There's no need for all these f***ing obscenities.
_Laurie_ Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Yeah , I guess - if you care enough to answer , you rotten motherf***er ! Friggin dork....hey this is fun...
