rtstuff
I have just started back to work for my 32nd year as a high school science teacher. I will start out the new year with these two nominations. 1. Midnight Special CCR. This was featured in the movie "The Twilight Zone". Remember this was the movie that featured about 3 short vignettes. One of the shorts was the story where actor Vic Morrow was killed along with a small child when they were shooting a scene concerning the Viet Nam war. There was one short story that dealt with John Lithgowl sp? as a passenger on a plane who sees a strange creature on the wing. In the actual episode of the Twilight Zone this part was played by William Shatner. Anyhow at the end of the movie as John Lithgowl is being escorted off by an ambulance the song "The Midnight Special" is playing. The driver of the ambulance is none other than Dan Ackroyd. 2. Abraham, Martin, and John. Dion. A song that has a lot of meaning for many Americans. rtstuff "Let the midnight special shine its ever lovin light on me." rtstuff
Oops I just realized that I was too late to nominate that we are into the voting stage. Hey OLD 55 if it is ok with you I will just use those two songs listed above for the number 28 edition of the top ten. 1. Midnight Special 2. Abraham, Martin, and John. rtstuff

c_s_1987
Ooooh, cool! Normal curve! You mean like this? Yep, looks pretty normal to me. This also disproves one of my favourite quotes from The Simpsons: Why do you need new bands? Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact. I think the graph suggests 1968 is closer to the mark. EDIT: Apologies for the poor picture quality. Also apologies to anyone who I have confused with this post. A test I had last Monday showed a malignant tumour. I have to undergo some more next Monday Australian Eastern Standard Time,(this is the first concern) and if it's contained I have an excellent chance of recovery. At this stage I'll be having the operation on 5th September, A.E.S.T.(the second concern). You know I believe in God, and even if you don't, as a special favour to me, could you please say some prayers for me and my Family. Just a few words - "May God that Old55 believes in help him and his Family". If any Catholics wanted to say a Rosary that would be wonderful. Thank you ! (Forgive me for being crabby the last couple of weeks).
