Farin
thanks Peachy, it's just with the lack of feedback, I don't know if nobody watches them, or if you're just too polite to tell me that it's crap a for Al Green's contribution to the Pulp Fiction OST and for the no-more-winter song
edna
I also watch almost every video posted... it´s part of my way to learn... I found one of my fave songs while youtubing: Shipbuilding - Elvis Costello live I know, Robert Wyatt´s version is very good but I found out about Costello´s this year and I like it better. Suede made a good cover too.
Farin
a few months ago there was a discussion here, about someone wanting to play a violin in a band... I forgot the specifics, but I remember that I wanted to post this song, but couldn't do so, because I didn't find a video of it, but now... so if you like violins in Rock songs and aren't too repeled of foreign lyrics (they aren't too important anyway), then this song's for you Am Fenster ~ City ("At the Window")

Red Fish
Haha! Take THAT, Sneeky! I remember I first heard it a few months back off of a music blog for the worst music videos ever, I think. The song is horribly catchy, even though they look ridiculous. Farin
I read in some youtube comment that they are the German Village People... and that's completely true... check out their first song "Dschinghis Khan", if you find it...
Red Fish
Is this it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwDwdeWxLg0 That was pretty good, too. Very similar... but that's not exactly bad.
Farin
Is this it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwDwdeWxLg0 That was pretty good, too. Very similar... but that's not exactly bad. yes, that's it! and it DOES sound very similar - as do the rest of their songs. they were a pure pop-product, and after the first song (this one) became a hit, the producers and writers just made a few more songs that sounded like that... Farin
not for everyone's taste, but on the other hand, what is? Autobahn ~ Kraftwerk (1974) with a very cool animation from 1979 by Roger Mainwood

blind-fitter
check out their first song "Dschinghis Khan", if you find it... Crikes, I remember that one- it was the German entry in the Eurovision Song Contest...what year? 1979? Reminded me of Boney M more than The Village People, but who's arguing?
