rtstuff
Many, many years ago Edna. In fact too many. I think I would have been 18 in 1967. I really don't remember now why it was R rated. Maybe they showed a littl bit of Anne Bancrofts' skin. I just don't remember, but at the time I am sure I took notice. rtstuff
edna
17 actually. And they check IDs. Mon dieu... Many, many years ago Edna. In fact too many. I think I would have been 18 in 1967. I saw "The Graduate" in the early seventies... I was 11 in 1967, I don´t thinkI would have been impressed then...

rtstuff
I love both of those RonJon, especially "Both Sides Now". I saw Judy Collins in concert about 7 or 8 years ago. She put on a great concert. I loved her rendition of "Amazing Grace". rtstuff
RonJonSurfer
I wanted to make sure the Judy Collins version was the one we voted on. Joni wrote it and performs it beautifully....but Judy made it famous.

Pride and Joy-Stevie Ray Vaughan Blowin' In The Wind-Bob Dylan With permission from Old, I'm going to change my nomination from Blowin' In The Wind to Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. OLD 55
Hi jman ! With further apologies to Bob, I have about a half dozen versions of Blowin' In The Wind, but not his ! I like Peter, Paul & Mary's. He's an amazing songwriter though. I will surprise you all and nominate one of his recordings some day (not as obvious as Like A Rolling Stone). OLD 55
Nice ones CeeCee. I've added them above. A couple of regulars still to nominate. We'll keep nominations open for another day perhaps. This Top Ten #9 is for period ending 15th May !We might have to have a fun "Topical Ten" sometime to "fill in". Phil suggested "Top 10 Worst Songs", but the only trouble there is that some of us love songs that others hate (Africa, Walking On Sunshine, etc. - I like them, but I know a couple of people who don't). c_s_1987
Due to the 1965-1975 domination we have had so far, I suggest a "No 1965-75" themed top ten some time soon. Or maybe narrow it down even more and say no sixties or seventies.
