InsaneTim
If you want actual Irish music for your party get some Gaelic Storm. That's assuming you want traditional. For your rocker-type friends they may enjoy a good dose of Flogging Molly. If there's one thing I know it's Irish music, being a Celtic fiddler. fidelityfiend
There's one by The Dropkick Murphys - I think it's just called "The Irish Drinking Song" - it's pretty simple. From what I recall, the lyrics go kinda like this: drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight HEY! drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight HEY! or something very close to that. It's a punk rock classic.
edna
Too Much Seconal - Johnny Winter (whiskey is also involved) It´s amazing, you´re the first poster who talks about that song... "you´ve been drinking too much whiskey... and you´ve been taking too much Seconal..." mmm, Seconal... I prefer quaaludes... reminds of those years when I used to take candy from strangers
Uncle Joe
How about The Fog On The Tyne by Lindisfarne? "We can swing together, we can have a wee wee we can have a wet on the wall."
DiggsUK
As a drinking song, 'The Fog On The Tyne' is more appropriately done by Gazza. For anybody who is unaware of his work, Gazza is a Geordie lad famous for being one of the best footballers this country has ever produced, drinking and wearing false breasts. Why-aye canny lad, howay! Regards
