I'll have to start thinking of Woodstock themed nominations then. It'll be tricky finding ones that aren't in already, but I got one in mind so far. Lucky
Well then Dap's on a roll. Ramble Tamble -- CCR 1970 If this makes it in it will be the 8th of 11 from Cosmos Factory . Dappled's workin' through the tracks. Ain't Hurtin' Nobody - John Prine (1995) Features backing vocals by Marianne Faithful. A nice surprise. Edited August 12, 2009 by Guest
blind-fitter
Two of the spine-tingling moments from my weekend of non-stop beer, drugs and punk rock: "Warhead" - UK Subs Subs vocalist Charlie Harper is in his mid-60s now, but still makes a pretty decent job of fronting one of the best punk bands in the world, ever. "Warhead" at Rebellion 09 was just an inspiring spectacle. "Love Like Blood" - Killing Joke Dedicated to the memory of Raven (seen playing bass in this clip), who died suddenly last year. Killing Joke are now performing with their original line-up, (Raven had replaced original bassist Youth in 1983), and they are just awesome. When Jaz invited us to pause for a few moments communal thought about our lost brother, the emotion in the room was tangible.
