Lea
I will vote for it if it' s not from the 80s or 90s or 2000 It's from the 80's edna but it sounds like it should have been on the Sticky Fingers album. Like I said, I'm not the biggest Stones fan in the world but this song caught my attention Like you I prefer the 60's and 70's stuff If Pink nominates Floyd next week I will most likely wait till the following week to nominate "Almost Hear You Sigh". Us and Them is one of my favorite Floyd songs and I like the Stones song enough, I want to at least give it a chance to have the top spot on my own list. If it goes against Us and Them it would'nt have a chance
edna
But we can now safely say that Jethro Tull, with "Thick as a Brick" is the first complete album to make the Ten. Oh... I missed something, it seems... Well, congrats then, Jethro... l'll try to have Sticky Fingers at #2...
bazooka
I would have loved to see it #1, but #2 is just as good. I commend your unique egalitarian point of view. It is not, however, the prevailing philosophy manifested in the history of mankind. Your attitude also runs contrary to the whole raison d'etre of a Top Ten list. Plus, I don't think I'd try to sell that idea in a job interview. :jester:
c_s_1987
Bitch, Brown Sugar, Dead Flowers. Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Moonlight Mile, Sway, Wild Horses and Sister Morphine. Left: You Got To Move and I Got The BLues. Lea, after you nominate -and watch it make the Top - your Stones song next week, I´d love to nominate I Got The Blues... And Who's Next only has My Wife left. I'll be interested to see which album wins the "race". I'll admit that a 9 or 10 track album making it into the top ten is more impressive than a 2 track album with only one song.
phil
I think I nominated My Wife, a long time ago. At that time it didn't do well. I'm sure one of our historians can search the archives for that. Thanks.
c_s_1987
^ You nominated it in TT #45 back in January 2007. It got 27 points.

MindCrime
I heard Friday I'm in Love while I was in the grocery store just now and it was funny to me, since I haven't heard that song in over 5 years at least.
