Farin
I really want a cookie. very good (I had to make sure it wasn't spoiled already ) okay, Bonus question: what piece of classical music was used at the beginning of the song (before the lyrics start)? Because that's not Rachmaninoff you could get one or two chocolate cookies out of that Edited June 1, 2009 by Guest cookie didn't show

BlueAngel
okay, Bonus question: what piece of classical music was used at the beginning of the song (before the lyrics start)? In the video the piece playing at the start is, I believe, from Rimsky-Korsakov's arrangement of Mussorgsky's A Night on Bald Mountain, also the theme song of The Toxic Avenger. "World In My Eyes" - Depeche Mode "Rebellion (Lies)" - Arcade Fire So many great songs on Funeral its hard to choose...I had it narrowed down to this one and "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)" but this is a little bit more accessible. blind-fitter
"Geno" - Dexy's Midnight Runners (1980) I was about to nominate "Come On Eileen", which is a classic of its time, but I much prefer Dexy's "Young Soul Rebel" period than the raggle-taggle gypsy "Too-Rye-Aye" stuff that came afterwards. "Your Ghost" - Kristin Hersh (feat. Michael Stipe) "Your Ghost" If I walk down this hallway Tonight it's too quiet So I pat through the dark And call you on the phone Push your old number And let your house ring Till I wake your ghost Let him walk down your hallway It's not this quiet Slide down your receiver Stand across the wire Follow my number Slide into my hand It's the blaze across my nightgown It's the phone's ring Chorus: I think last night you were driving circles around me (x3) I can't drink this coffee Till I put you in my closet Let him shoot me down Let him call me off I take it from his whisper You're not that tough It's the blaze across my nightgown It's the phone's ring Chorus: You were in my dream (I think last night) You were driving circles around me (x5)
Jenny
They Live in You - The Lion King This song is from the Broadway production of the Lion King and I think it's very touching. Basically, it's a song about how your ancestors and loved ones never leave you, but guide you through life Another very moving Disney song. One that took me a long time to not cry while listening to. It's from Toy Story 2, when Jessie tells the story of how she went from beloved best friend to discarded junk When She Loved Me - Sarah MacLachlan
