The Seeker
Could be that's an optical illusion owing to the gap between list and signature? I was wondering about that too, but I still feel the list is shorter even if I hide the gap. It might add to it though.

Shawna
Can I change one of my nominations to something by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra? (Unless somebody else know who they are and would like to nominate them) should Christmas Eve Sarajevo be on the list? that's one of my favorites... and I was thinking it would be there... MindCrime
should Christmas Eve Sarajevo be on the list? that's one of my favorites... and I was thinking it would be there... I forgot to specifically change which nomination to it, so it got left off the list. It's a variation of Carol of the Bells which is a traditional song and thus isn't eligible. I put it at #1 because it truly is IMHO one of the most beautiful non-traditional Christmas songs there is. I love that song even when it isn't Christmas. If only Yoko hadn't felt the need to wail/screech/open her mouth at all/sing? Sorry but I just can't stand that woman's voice. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.[/smallest]
_Laurie_
I totally agree with you Lea......It's a beautiful song...and very sad....Knowing that we lost John in December, and every year when I hear that song, it gets to me everytime.... miamisammy29
1. Father Christmas - The Kinks (This song is great ALL YEAR 'ROUND!!) 2. Christmas - The Who (Same comment as #1) 3. You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch - Thurls Ravenscroft (When I grow up, I want to be just like the Grinch...well, before he grew that big frickin' heart, of course.) 4. Blue Christmas - Elvis Presley (This is my favorite tune by the King, except maybe for "Jailhouse Rock" and "In The Ghetto".) 5. Reggae Christmas - Bryan Adams (This is my FLAT-OUT favorite tune by Bryan Adams.) 6. My D*ck In A Box - Samberg/Timberlake (When I originally wrote this song, it was titled, "My D*ck On The Back Of A Flatbed Truck"....but the title (and my d*ck), evidently, was too long for late-night television, so Samberg and Timberlake shortened it to fit their own "sizes" and took full credit for MY song. D*cks! 7. F**k Christmas - Eric Idle (This is quickly becoming my new favorite saying.) 8. Snoopy's Christmas - The Royal Guardsmen (There was a band playing at a little bar near my house last week; they were called The Invisible Swordsmen. That is such a cool name! It's an even cooler name than The Singing Bush. I have to go see them the next time they're around.) 9. Another Christmas Song - Jethro Tull (I saw Ian Anderson do this one solo (along with a 20-piece orchestra) a couple/three years ago. He opened with an instrumental version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". I had front row seats. It was very cool.) 10. Merry Christmas Baby (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight) - Ramones (Cool tune.) My #10 came down to the Ramones, the Band-Aid, and the Elton John. The Ramones won out by virtue of getting less airplay, thereby not making everyone sick every time he/she hears it. Had yesterday been the first time I heard "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" (AND NOT THE SIX MILLIONTH FRICKIN' TIME), it may have placed somewhere in the middle of my list. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
