OLD 55
No, that's not fair b-f. The Kinks have always been my third favorite British Band behind The Beatles and Stones. Not many voted for them when we first started ! It took 100 Tens to get 'Waterloo Sunset' in there with Dappled's persistence. And if you go on 'number of songs in the Ten', not just #1s, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Bob Dylan and Elton John have all had more, and Neil Young equal. OLD 55
As there's already been a Tom Petty song nominated this week, I'll withdraw 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around' and replace it with You've Made Me So Very Happy - Blood, Sweat & Tears (1969)

cyberjudge
I'm not sure if I actually suggested that Jeff. I'm going with 70s (just) and 80s songs this week, but the 50s will certainly figure in my vote. I didn't see that you had posted that idea either. But it sounded like a good theme so I an with it.
