Otokichi Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 The Mythbuster's marathon on the Discovery channel. Right now: Can you shoot a padlock open with various kinds of guns? Can the orange Dodge Charger "General Lee" leap over a river with just a small dirt ramp? It's the "Hollywood Myths" set.
Otokichi Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 The "Dirty Jobs" marathon on the Discovery channel. Right now: "The Dirty 30," Mike's got a "Clint Eastwood squint" from the swirl of fine charcoal and chemicals used to make aerial fireworks.
chutzpah Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thing on HBO...wow...very,very good...everybody...Jeff Beck, and that young dude from "Rage against the Machine" made the guitar sqeak... :guitar: hey,and BTW...Is "Deep Purple" in there yet? Or is this supposed to be in another thread?...
Otokichi Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 "Pawn Stars" on the History channel. Up now: a couple of "Crocodile Dundee"-size military knives and a ship's spyglass for sale/pawn.
Heimann47 Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 i'm watching my guitar pro software play through the bass line for between the buried and me's album colors. not gonna lie, i'm kind of in awe. dan briggs, i almost want to make love to you.
Uncle Joe Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Once again the Kennedy Center Honors kicked patoot. I'm impressed by the selection committee again this year. Robert Di Nero, Dave Brubeck, Mel Brooks and Bruce Springsteen...all big favorites of mine along with opera singer Grace Bumbry. Awesome show with lots of great pereformers doing the honors. I'm too tired to elaborate tonight. I hope you saw the show.
_Laurie_ Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 I saw parts of it when I was at work tonight....I hope it's on again...
RockyRaccoon Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Poker After Dark. If you thought watching poker was boring, try watching guys explain why they did what they did during a game. "Well uhhh I had a flush and uhhh I thought I had a good chance of winning and uhhhh well, I won. Cause everyone quit. And that happens sometimes."
MindCrime Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 I hate watching poker on television and how much they make from it.
Farin Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 yeah, almost as much fun as watching endurance chess or competitive fishing
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Glee. Glorious, wonderful, enchanting Glee.
TheLizard Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 And that's all I have to say about Glee.
Otokichi Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 "Bones" on TNT: A bomb in the refrigerator keeps snack-seeking "Seely Booth" at bay!
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 And that's all I have to say about Glee. And that's all I have to say to you, TimLizzy.
TheLizard Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 [ I freaking love you, TimLizzy. And this was just 21 posts ago. A fickle thing, love.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Correction, my long haired hippie friend. I love you enough to shoot you a bird when you deserve it.
miamisammy29 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 What is my new favorite show, you ask? Only the greatest show since "Married With Children".... MAN V. FOOD (on the Travel Channel) I LOVE THIS SHOW!! Adam Richman is my new hero! The guy gets fatter every episode. If I were playing The Dead Pool, this dude would be at the top of my list!
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 I freaking love that show, Sammy. I don't know how that dude doesn't weigh 400 lbs or why he hasn't dropped dead yet, but I dig it. Nothing like a chubby guy sweating whilst he eats. It's a turn on, I tell ya.
miamisammy29 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Peaches, somehow I knew you watched that show and would be the one to comment on it. That dude reminds me too much of myself. He resembles me (I'm much better looking, of course), and he eats like I do. But even I can't match his stamina. I'd be dead half-way through one of those challenges. Great show, though, isn't it? I have to get to some of those places where he pigs out.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Mr. Peaches was the one who found the show and turned me on to it. How romantical. He went to some place in Hartford, CT that I think I've been and he went to a place in Athens, GA that Mr. P. has been. The dude gets around.
skybluesky Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Adam Richman is just one of my many TV boyfriends. I gotta love a man who will eat a pancake as big as a manhole cover, and keep on eating.
