MindCrime Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 Schindler's List Being German-Jewish and having grand-relatives that were holocaust survivors, I feel a cold shiver down my spine watching this film. The graphic nature is a bit hard to swallow. I'm only watching it because it made the Top 10 drama movies list that we did last month, and I haven't seen it since it was released.
_Laurie_ Posted August 22, 2009 Report Posted August 22, 2009 Yes MC...very graphic...I tried to watch it when it first came out...I remember not being able to watch the whole movie.... Right now I'm watching The Mets game....

MindCrime Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Penn & Teller's Bulls#!t on the Vatican City
Jenny Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 I'm not watching it right now, but last night there was an interesting show on called "Surviving Disaster". This particular episode showed how to survive an airplane hijacking. The guy hosting it is ex-military, I think, and it's basically a realistic scenario of what could go on and what "normal" people can do to improve their chances of survival. Next week it's how to survive a high-rise fire.
