Foolonthehill Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 haha that's one of the best yet and I think I've read them all
Foolonthehill Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 turns out I hadn't read them all now I have and now there's this empty feeling inside me knowing that there isn't a new xkcd to read
edna Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 That´s the kind of stupid jokes I adore the most!!!
_Laurie_ Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Hall and Oats came on the radio today when I was in the car, and I thought of Peachy....So I had to sing along at the top of my lungs....
MindCrime Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 That is just perfect. I still don't get this one, can somebody please explain it to me?
Farin Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 and I thought I was the only one *phew*
Levis Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Here's my understanding: the dude is Xzibit - host of Pimp My Ride in the US. Replace 'function' with 'car' and 'derive' with 'drive' and you sorta get it, no?
Levis Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Why he's wearing a curlywurly wig escapes me...
TheLizard Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 The Xzibit thing with "car" has been around for a while. Replace it with "function" and you have an extremely nerdy calculus joke. His face has been placed in a portrait of Issac Newton, inventor of calculus. Sigh. Jokes are less funny when you explain them.
Farin Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 now I understand it thanks ...it's not really funny though
MindCrime Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 ...it's not really funny though I agree I don't like humor that you have to think too hard about.

Jokes are less funny when you explain them. I thought it was funny and you didn't have to explain it to me. I guess we're both pimped out nerds, yo.
Uncle Joe Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I see you've gotten a little behind in your e-mail. No, it's not Ben Stein.
