CanAm
I looked at the 50 songs and tried very hard to pick my own Top Ten. 5 of the songs that made it are also on my list. You know what they say...great minds think alike. So, Laurie's next, right? :guitar:

Tenacious_Peaches
Is there a specific time frame for each of these tens? The list was posted on the 9th and tabulated on the 13th, but the others seemed like there was a longer voting period. I'm certainly not fussing because I totally appreciate all the work you lovely people put into these tasks. I just hate that I missed voting for CanAm's wondrous list. skybluesky
This was a great list, but Can Am's list would have been excellent no matter what the turn out.

I'm certainly not fussing because I totally appreciate all the work you lovely people put into these tasks. I just hate that I missed voting for CanAm's wondrous list. Curses :beady: Here I was debating whether to leave it open or not but decided against it. There is no set timeframe for the voting. I usually think about winding it up once the level of activity starts dwindling. Nothing had happened for nearly 24 hours - I saw Martin online and checked up if he was planning to vote (more like 'VOTE or ELSE!! :susel:'). Gave it another couple of hours, but couldn't see anyone around who hadn't already voted, so I decided to count and post. Besides, there are only fewer people around over the weekend. Yes, so without any set dates or time limits, it's all a matter of acrobatic decision-making like that ^
_Laurie_
So basically, everyone should get off their butts and vote as quickly as possible, and then maybe it will be my turn.....
cyberjudge
Perhaps, in the future, it might be worth giving a deadline, either when the list is posted or say several hours before voting closes, to give any last minute wannabes the chance to put in their 2 cents (or euros, etc.). Tenacious_Peaches
Yes, so without any set dates or time limits, it's all a matter of acrobatic decision-making like that ^ Oooh, acrobatic decision-making. I'd love to see that. Again, I'd like to stress that I am in no way casting any sort of disparaging fingers in any direction. My 'puter went wacky in the wicky woo and I wasn't able to vote in a timely manner. I blame Al Gore for inventing the Internet in the first place. Lucky
Great Ten CanAm, how could it be otherwise? You handed us an amazing list of songs to choose from. Every song in your ten is a true rock classic! I'm happy to see that my S&G song would have made #1 ... I may look now for another. As you said CanAm, great minds do think alike.
