Jenny
Of all the lists so far, this is the one I'm most familiar with. Only 11 songs I don't know. With the limited listening time I have, and all the listening I have to do for the regular Top Ten, I'm going to submit my ten now. 1. La Grange - ZZ Top my favorite ZZ Top song! 2. Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting - Elton John 3. Rocket Man - Elton John 4. Cherry Bomb - John Cougar Mellencamp 5. Don't Worry Baby - The Beach Boys 6. Honky Tonk Women - The Rolling Stones 7. Who'll Stop The Rain - CCR 8. Harden My Heart - Quarterflash 9. Somebody To Love - Jefferson Airplane 10. California Dreaming - The Mamas and The Papas I've got Elton and JCM on my list, too...different songs, though, which goes to show how many wonderful songs these artist have. Steel2Velvet
Yeah, I am very familiar with this list, as well. I am so glad you included the full-length version of "Crimson and Clover." I noticed in that video how strong was the resemblance between Tommy James and Leslie Gore. Hmmm, I wonder if both have ever been seen in the same room at the same time before. cyberjudge
Certainly a lot more familiar songs on this list. (Leave it to the Canuck to corner the US market! ) My top 3 jump right off the page, but there's probably a couple of dozen that could fill the 4-10 spots. I'll keep working on it.
