Levis Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 Aaaand again ... this was unexpected. about 1230 my time, so that's... 3:30pm GMT?
Farin Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 yes, that's the time it happens almost daily... (that's midnight ET right? maybe it has something to do with that?) but additionally to that on other - irregular - times as well... yesterday it was around 3:40pm GMT, but I've already seen it at 9 or 10pm GMT as well (that was before you found the bad cron job though)
bluesboy Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 It always happens 3am west coast time daily for 15 minutes, 6am east. I go to work at 5am and wake up 2:45am and turn the computer on.
Shawna Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 I go to work at 5am and wake up 2:45am that's insanity.
edna Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 (edited) that's insanity. Yes, it is... I got an offer for a very good job, well payed, in my profesion et all but I´m not sure I will accept it because I would have to get up at 5am -which is when bluesy gets to work- and take the train, I start at 7.30 am. I like to wake up at 5 am for me, to work at home, with my coffee and my computer and my cats, having breakfast with my husband. I know we all have to work but, in my case, not at that price... Sorry, off-topic again... Edited June 17, 2008 by Guest

bluesboy Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 It's just hard to try to start to go to bed at 8 pm.
The Seeker Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 I'll have to do that for two weeks... get up at 3:30 am. Fortunately it's just ten days!
MuzikTyme Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 I'll have to do that for two weeks...Fortunately it's just ten days! In dog years?
Farin Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I had a database error just now... one hour later than usual...
Carl Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Fusion Billy did some more investigating and got to see the problem for himself. He traced it to another site on the server that was sucking resources, so they are going to move that site. I'm hoping this clears it up, but let us know if the wonkiness continues.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted July 2, 2008 Author Report Posted July 2, 2008 Bless you for all your hard work, Songfacts Carl and Fusion Billy.
Earth-Angel Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 Thanks Carl - I only had a minor issue with logging in yesterday, but everything seems to be running smoothly again!
The Seeker Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 We had a proper database error again just now.
bluesboy Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 We had a proper database error again just now. Ditto
Carl Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 Aargh. I sent Fusion Billy a note so he can keep an eye on it. Please let us know if it persists.
The Seeker Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 There was another database error just now... only lasted two or three minutes.
skybluesky Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 The moniker Fusion Billy makes this person sound like he's a nuclear scientist super hero.
Viaene Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 I had this on the main page just now: Something has gone wrong. It might just be that too many people are on the site right now, so you might want to try back a little later. Thanks, The Songfacts Staff but after 2 times refreshing I got in
