johnnyguitar
Years ago I had an horrendous commute...it wasn't just the miles, it was through London, so it took forever. I vowed never to do it ever again. So I don't!

Ombre Vivante
My job not only requires I commute 27 miles one way, but also to drive from place to place. I estimate 65 miles total daily.
Lucky
I drive 17 miles each way. With traffic, that translates into 25 minutes in the morning, 45 in the afternoon.
edna
I take the bus, the subway or a taxi. I live in the city so I never spend more than 30 minutes travelling.
MuzikTyme
I feel ya, I'm not too crazy about the turn-stiles . . . I wake up and I'm at work . . .

edna
I wake up and I'm at work . . . That´s good... I used to work at home, I still do. But I like to change my views and go out on the streets. I always meet people I know in the streets. Off topic.
Earth-Angel
5 minute taxi in traffic (am), 20 minutes walk downhill (pm)
katie_sane
I travel 200 kilometres each day to get to and from work. That's around 124 miles I think. Takes me an hour and a bit each way, depending on traffic. It's a real drag and turns every day into a 10+ hour day.
Earth-Angel
I used to have a few hours a day commute in Johannesburg. When I got to England, I was lucky to never have to use a motorway and it took me up to 20 minutes to drive to work and the same back in the evening. I live within walking distance to work in Dundee, so it can either be an early start and a bit of an uphill walk through town, or a quick taxi either way
Sweet Jane 61
For me 20 miles each way, and I'm lucky that it is all country roads no city driving...but on the other hand, when it snows...my 25 minute drive can turn into an hour or more! Country roads are the last ones to get salted and plowed.
c_s_1987
To work: About 1 mile. To uni: About 7 miles. It takes between 30 and 90 minutes to get there, depending on traffic, and whether I drive or use public transport.
Jenny
I drive about 21 miles one way. It takes about a half hour in the morning and about 40 in the afternoon. In a couple of years, when my kid's out of daycare, my drive will be a little less and I'll do most of it alone. YES! The radio will be mine again! Shawna
To get to school in the morning is about 15 miles. Takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour to do it. No kidding. If I'm just going to work, it's about 8 miles the other direction, and it only takes 15-20 minutes on average.
RonJonSurfer
ditto...8 miles to work through the South Mountain Reservation.
Rayzor
I don't have anywhere to commute to so that's a simple survey question! 0 miles! Unless you count how often I go to the fridge and back for a beer, then it would be more than 50 miles...
