blind-fitter
Pulp's "Disco 2000" sprang to my mind, but you may not have heard it and, come to think of it, it might not be completely appropriate to your circumstances. I'm not much help.
Shawna
wow... maybe I'm misinterpreting what you're going for here, but if you make a CD with "Go Your Own Way" on it, that's as good as telling her to *&^$ off. Is that the message you want to send her?
_Laurie_
I thought that too Shawna...kind of mixed emotion feelings in some of the tunes listed....

Ombre Vivante
I really like "Go Your Own Way," but I agree that it doesn't fit a theme of liking someone. I think you should forget the cd and just tell her how you feel. If lady luck smiles upon you, THEN make the cd Oh, and the first songs that came to mind were: - "In A Manner Of Speaking" by Tuxedomoon http://youtube.com/watch?v=ePzLD1xvXGc - "Strange And Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You)" by Aqualung http://youtube.com/watch?v=R6TsudVtVKo

KentH
"If You Know What I Mean" by Neil Diamond When the night returns just like a friend, When the evening comes to set me free, When the quiet hours that wait beyond the day make Peaceful sounds in me. Took a drag from my last cigarette, Took a drink from a glass of old wine, I closed my eyes, and I could make it real and Feel it one more time. Can you hear it, babe? Can you hear it, babe? From another time, From another place, Do you remember it, babe? When the radio played like a carnival tune As we lay in our bed in the other room, When we gave it away for the sake of a dream In a penny arcade, if you know what I mean. Here's to the songs we used to sing And here's to the times we used to know. It's hard to hold them in our arms again but Hard to let them go. Do you hear it, babe? Do you hear it, babe? It was another time; It was another place. Do you remember it, babe? When the radio played like a carnival tune As we lay in our bed in the other room, When we gave it away for the sake of a dream In a penny arcade, if you know what I mean. miamisammy29
Yeah, forget the music. Just hand her a bottle of tequila and pack of condoms. You'll get your answer right then and there.
Viaene
good friends keep the contact, lesser friends don't. from my own experience; regaining contact with someone that never even tried to recontact isn't that good of a base to friendship. you might wan't to add on 'In the end - Linkin park' to point out the whole faded friendschip.. Shawna
Yeah, forget the music. Just hand her a bottle of tequila and pack of condoms. You'll get your answer right then and there. A theme song would be needed here. Jimmy Buffet's "Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw" comes to mind.

Elvish
Jonny Lang ~ Breakin' Me Every day I see your face I wish I'd stayed Don't even know what made me run away It's just the way I play the game Emotional is not a word I'd use to explain myself But now I'm down upon my knees Baby please take me back I don't want to be in love but you're makin' me Let me up I've had enough. Girl you're breakin' me Here I am just half a man standing alone Feeling like I lost my only chance At happiness when I let you go I don't want to be alone thinkin' bout you girl I got nothin' left to hold in this lonely world [solo] The first time my heart was ever touched Was the day I lost your love I can feel it in my flesh and blood My soul can only take it so much So there it is. Why can't you give us one more try You and I could find a way to live If you let me in one more time I know you lost your faith in me but I still believe Can I make you understand, can I make you see That I'm desperate for your love and it's breakin' me It's breakin' me
