wow... maybe I'm misinterpreting what you're going for here, but if you make a CD with "Go Your Own Way" on it, that's as good as telling her to *&^$ off. Is that the message you want to send her?

I really like "Go Your Own Way," but I agree that it doesn't fit a theme of liking someone. I think you should forget the cd and just tell her how you feel. If lady luck smiles upon you, THEN make the cd ;)

Oh, and the first songs that came to mind were:

- "In A Manner Of Speaking" by Tuxedomoon

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ePzLD1xvXGc

- "Strange And Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You)" by Aqualung

Need songs to decribe how i feel about this certain girl...

bazooka's advice to the lovelorn :

  • Neediness is never an attractive attribute.

  • Unrequited adoration is a waste of your assets.

  • Some suggested songs for you.

I Can’t Make You Love Me – Bonnie Raitt
[smallest]‘Cause I can't make you love me if you don't
You can't make your heart feel something it won't[/smallest]

Do You Know What I mean – Lee Michaels
[smallest]Better find yourself another girl, better find another girl
    Better find her, another place[/smallest]

Too Many Fish In The Sea –The Marvelettes
[smallest]I don't want nobody that don't want me
Too many fish in the sea
Ain't gonna love nobody that don't love me, now
Too many fish in the sea
I don't need nobody that don't need me
Too many fish in the sea
    I don't want nobody that don't love me, now[/smallest]

"If You Know What I Mean" by Neil Diamond

When the night returns just like a friend,

When the evening comes to set me free,

When the quiet hours that wait beyond the day make

Peaceful sounds in me.

Took a drag from my last cigarette,

Took a drink from a glass of old wine,

I closed my eyes, and I could make it real and

Feel it one more time.

Can you hear it, babe?

Can you hear it, babe?

From another time,

From another place,

Do you remember it, babe?

When the radio played like a carnival tune

As we lay in our bed in the other room,

When we gave it away for the sake of a dream

In a penny arcade, if you know what I mean.

Here's to the songs we used to sing

And here's to the times we used to know.

It's hard to hold them in our arms again but

Hard to let them go.

Do you hear it, babe?

Do you hear it, babe?

It was another time;

It was another place.

Do you remember it, babe?

When the radio played like a carnival tune

As we lay in our bed in the other room,

When we gave it away for the sake of a dream

In a penny arcade, if you know what I mean.

I think there's a few on here who'd tell you a crush can last 20 or 30 years...at least.

: )

Send her what you love...if she hates it, you've got your answer.

good friends keep the contact, lesser friends don't. from my own experience; regaining contact with someone that never even tried to recontact isn't that good of a base to friendship.

you might wan't to add on 'In the end - Linkin park' to point out the whole faded friendschip..

Yeah, forget the music. Just hand her a bottle of tequila and pack of condoms. You'll get your answer right then and there.

A theme song would be needed here. Jimmy Buffet's "Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw" comes to mind.

Jonny Lang ~ Breakin' Me

Every day I see your face I wish I'd stayed

Don't even know what made me run away

It's just the way I play the game

Emotional is not a word I'd use to explain myself

But now I'm down upon my knees

Baby please take me back

I don't want to be in love but you're makin' me

Let me up I've had enough. Girl you're breakin' me

Here I am just half a man standing alone

Feeling like I lost my only chance

At happiness when I let you go

I don't want to be alone thinkin' bout you girl

I got nothin' left to hold in this lonely world

[solo]

The first time my heart was ever touched

Was the day I lost your love

I can feel it in my flesh and blood

My soul can only take it so much

So there it is. Why can't you give us one more try

You and I could find a way to live

If you let me in one more time

I know you lost your faith in me but I still believe

Can I make you understand, can I make you see

That I'm desperate for your love and it's breakin' me

It's breakin' me

Alice's advice to the lovelorn....

Feed My Frankenstein

Alice Cooper

Well, I ain't evil, I'm just good lookin'

Start a little fire, and baby start cookin'

I'm a hungry man

But I don't want pizza

I'll blow down your house

And then I'm gonna eat ya

Bring you to a simmer

Right on time

Run my greasy fingers

Up your greasy spine

Feed my Frankenstein

Meet my libido

He's a psycho

Feed my Frankenstein

Hungry for love

And it's feeding time

You don't want to talk

So baby shut up

And let me drink the wine from your fur tea cup

Velcro candy, sticky sweet

Make my tattoos melt in the heat

Well, I ain't no veggie

Like my flesh on the bone

Alive and lickin' on your LUST ice cream cone

Feed my Frankenstein

Meet my libido

He's a psycho

Feed my Frankenstein

Hungry for love

And it's feeding time

baby, whoa oah!! oh yeah!!

FEED MY FRANKEN-STI-I-INE!!

whoa oah!! baby, chow down,

FEED MY FRANKENSTI-I-INE

(*whisper*) he's a psycho

Feed my Frankenstein

Meet my libido

He's a psycho

Feed my Frankenstein

Hungry for love

And it's LUNCH time

baby, whoa oah!! oh yeah!!

FEED MY FRANKEN-STI-I-INE!!

whoa oah!! baby, chow down,

FEED MY FRANKENSTI-I-INE

Feed my Frankenstein

Meet my libido

He's such a psycho

Feed my Frankenstein

Hungry for love

And it's feeding time

baby, whoa oah!! oh yeah!!

FEED MY FRANKEN-STI-I-INE

whoa oah!! baby, chow down,

FEED MY FRANKENSTI-I-INE!!
