Lucky Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Congrats Grandpa, to you, your daughter & family.
Lea Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 My 24 year old daughter is cooking her first Thanksgiving dinner by herself this year. I usually have it at my house. What started out as a dinner for 5 has turned into a dinner for about 12 Seems we all have people that have no place to go and thats not to mention family members that decided to invite themselves at the last minute I have to give the kid credit tho, she didn't panic She lives alone so she is only used to cooking for a couple people at a time. She has never cooked for a crowd. Good thing she has a mommy and a couple of grand mommies that have
RonJonSurfer Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 ...and it will turn out fine, I'm sure.
Lea Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Yeah I have no worries. She is a pretty good cook and will have us there if she needs any help. I told her it's not much different cooking for 5 or 12, just add more potatoes
Levis Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Mums are useful that way - not as useful as the phones that let you make high pitched whining noises in their ear from distant continents in times of panic, but nearly.
