MuzikTyme Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Leftovers of a casserole I made that I saw in a magazine -- it's beef stew meat cooked in one large can of cream of mushroom soup, with a large onion, red bell pepper, one large bag of baby spinach and two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar. You can serve it over mashed potatoes, noodles, rice....it's up to you. It's mighty delish! Yummy! I think one can add quality ingredients together along with cream of mushroom soup and present a feast for kings. Though I'm not a chef, my tongue tells me otherwise. Pinkstones, you're indeed correct, it sounds scrumptdillyicious. And I still stand by my original observation; leftovers sometimes taste better than hot off the grill. Lest I forget, I'm eating smoked oysters with grilled vegetables including zuccni, broccoli, onions and green peppers whilst washing it down with a subtle chablis blanc. I want to wrap it up and save it for tomorrow because I'm too hungry now but know it'll taste better then. The wine I'll drink without reserve. Left-overs...the silent best.
