I didn't mean THAT kind of hot ;) No fried sausages, fried bacon, hash browns or pancakes for us

but hot bread rolls with (homemade) jam is major yummy

btw, do the Americans still call them "Freedom Fries" instead of French fries?

A few restaurants tried that "Freedom Fries" crap around the time of the outbreak of the Gulf War, but it didn't last very long. Now they just call them what they truly are..."Cholesterol-Filled Sacks of Sh*t". I love em'!

ah yes, it was just that with all the talk about fries made me think of that again... :)

and of course our News back then made it sound as if half of America refused anything called "French" (fries, bread, kiss whatever)

and naturally they never made a report: "all is back to normal" either... not interesting enough :P

slice of bread - tuna w/Miracle Whip - Lays sour cream & onion chips - slice of bread.

The combination of flavors and textures are heaven. Try it, already! I do not endorse any other chip/sandwich combo, as I have not come across a better combo for my taste.

of course we have them, but we use the French name:

Pommes Frittes (fried Potatoes) :)

:) One of the few phrases I remember from the three years I spent in Germany. That was 1st through 3rd grade, so fries were very important to me.
