Elvish Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 Nah, he's just a Ricardo Montalban fan...although I wouldn't put it past him to have a nice margarita or some Mexican beer with his carrrrrne asaaaaada... I'm having an Oreo Sonic Blast. At 8 a.m. and it's 8 degrees
Tenacious_Peaches Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 CaRRRRRRRRne AsAAAAAAAAAAda I love that commercial, too, Joe. Ricardo Montalban rocks my world. My daughter is obsessed with Dora the Explorer and he was a guest voice on an episode. He was a wizard who was missing his magic wand. The theme of the show was "what's missing?", which is apparently "falta algo?" in Spanish. He said it at least 3 thousand times in the episode and I howled with glee every time. When the Taco Bell commercial comes on, Mr. Peaches and I say "falta algo?" for the next twenty minutes.
Elvish Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 I'm eating a cobb salad with red wine vinaigrette and pita bread. Yummy stuff....
MarcM Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Tuna sandwich with sour cream and onion chips in with the tuna on multi-grain wheat bread. Mmmmm

Oh , well - modify the lyrics a bit while you're on the way ! Edited February 18, 2007 by Guest
TheLizard Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Love the song, but it's credited to all four of The Doors, not just Densmore and Krieger. And it's Robbie Krieger, not Roby.
Kevin Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Love the song, but it's credited to all four of The Doors, not just Densmore and Krieger. And it's Robbie Krieger, not Roby. I know nothing about it - just cut and paste the first thing Yahoo ! gives me .
TheLizard Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Well now you're one random factoid smarter.
Kevin Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Can hardly wait for my next game of 'Trivial Pursuit ' , now - hope that comes up !
skybluesky Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I ate a sandwich with turkey and tomato and cheddar pringles on the sandwich. We are smart sandwich makers here.
_Laurie_ Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Another member of the secret sandwich society!
MarcM Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 That should be "Roasthouse Blues" Kevin.... And I am full.
Kevin Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) Yeah , I caught on earlier ( see previous posts ) ... just thought you could improvise and have fun with the lyrics . What did you have ? Primerib ? (drool , drool ) - I'd kill for a decent piece of roast beef here that didn't cost $100 .00 + a serving ... Edited February 18, 2007 by Guest
katie_sane Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 How come it is so expensive in Japan?
MarcM Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I had a Angus New York strip steak with a cabernet reduction sauce, garlic mashed taters, carrots, really good bread with some sort of oil dipping stuff, a glass of merlot, a creme brulee with raspberry sauce drizzled on it and a cup of coffee. There was an OK jazz quartet playing, but the most entertaining part of the evening was when some stoner rode his bike into the open glass door of the resturant, shattering it. He had a cut on his arm that was kinda deep, but nothing a few stitches cant fix. All he could say was "Dude!" over and over. So, for all of you out there who like their brownies, dont ride your bikes. If you do, look out for glass doors.
