Thanks Shawna. I have no young kids here so I will give it a try :D

and for dinner we just had:

Elk steak baked in Pepper parmesan cheese sauce, mashed potatoes, boiled fresh baby carrots and chocolate cake for dessert.

It was very good :D

Monkey Bread (Cinammon pullapart bread) is delish.

In a stroke of weird coincidence, just last night I saw a cooking show where the guy had a bundt pan out with pecans in the bottom, and he was rolling balls of dough into cinnamon and sugar.

I knew immediately what he was making before I even turned up the sound. ;) I am soooo making it this year.

I generally don't buy Haagen Daz, but the really cheap ice cream you can buy here is utter crap. It comes in 4 liter pails and if you leave it out by mistake, it doesn't melt like natural ice cream. There are so many chemicals and emulsifiers in it that it no longer has the properties of the regular stuff.
