Lea
Thanks Shawna. I have no young kids here so I will give it a try and for dinner we just had: Elk steak baked in Pepper parmesan cheese sauce, mashed potatoes, boiled fresh baby carrots and chocolate cake for dessert. It was very good Edited December 4, 2008 by Guest

Shawna
Monkey Bread (Cinammon pullapart bread) is delish. In a stroke of weird coincidence, just last night I saw a cooking show where the guy had a bundt pan out with pecans in the bottom, and he was rolling balls of dough into cinnamon and sugar. I knew immediately what he was making before I even turned up the sound. I am soooo making it this year.

The Seeker
Häagen Dazs Belgian chocolate ice cream. I don't usually buy this expensive stuff but it was on sale so I thought I'd give it a try... it's Häagen Dazs AND Belgian chocolate, so I expected something really great... but I think I prefer cheap chocolate chip stuff
Mars88
My husband is making waffles for breakfast. Seeker, I generally don't buy Haagen Daz, but the really cheap ice cream you can buy here is utter crap. It comes in 4 liter pails and if you leave it out by mistake, it doesn't melt like natural ice cream. There are so many chemicals and emulsifiers in it that it no longer has the properties of the regular stuff.
The Seeker
I don't usually buy the really cheap stuff either... just cheap compared to Häagen Dazs. Ice cream that doesn't melt sounds scary
Mars88
If we read all our food labels, we would scare ourselves, that's for sure...I do try to make things from scratch as much as possible.

miamisammy29
Yeah, I think I'm gonna start calling it a "Royale with Cheese". I don't think they're even close to a quarter-pound anymore. Still damn tasty, though.
