_Laurie_ Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Wow...How did I miss seeing that one?...Looks good, I'll have to rent it...
MindCrime Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Being John Malkovich - 90% rating I'm watching this right now, probably my favorite dramatic-comedy, that I've seen in a while. There's some puzzling key elements throughout the twisted plot, that I've never fully understood.
Farin Posted May 29, 2008 Author Report Posted May 29, 2008 ^ it's probably not meant to be understood
Ken Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 OMG Ken, I'm creeped out all over again! I couldn't watch a full 2 minutes of that because it's so creepy! :beady: No, that wasn't creepy. This Is...... Ken.
Ken Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Or this one.... I remember being a terrified 15 year old at the Odeon Theatre when I heard those chilling words... "Jill, we traced the call. It's coming from inside the house. Get out of that house!" Inner body temperature to zero in a heartbeat...

Tenacious_Peaches Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. You know this movie freaks me the freak out, Ken.
Ken Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Wouldn't you just..... freak? Like, say, you happen to wake, open your eyes, see the digital clock, 3:37 AM, move your eyes, and he's next to the bed? Hehheee... Get a good night sleep Kar. The boogeyman is real. Evn if you don't believe in him, he believes in you...
_Laurie_ Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 ^^^^Awww darn...I thought it was gonna be the Badfinger... MAGIC!....Another good one!
Ken Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 From me to you... Wow. Your memory is incredible. Outstanding...... This guy weirds me out bad too...
Levis Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 ^ he has no lips! second guy looks like a failed kathakali dancer, poor thing.
Steel2Velvet Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Anybody seen the new Indiana Jones? Thoughts? We won't get it in Brazil for a month or more. Don't want to spend the money on it in a theatre id it is not up to at least Last Crusade level.
Shawna Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Although I haven't seen it myself, three friends have. One said, "Not good," the other two said, "Just okay." One of them said that a big part of the first Indy movies were Harrison Ford's facial expressions, and evidently since he is getting on in years they did not do so many close-ups in this movie so that most enjoyable part of the plot was lost.

Don't want to spend the money on it in a theatre id it is not up to at least Last Crusade level. Freaking awesome, I thought. But I'm a huge Indiana Jones fanboy, it would've taken a lot to disappoint me.
_Laurie_ Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 We watched Animal House the other night...haven't seen that in years...I forgot how funny that movie was....
Kevin Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Wouldn't you just..... freak? Evn if you don't believe in him, he believes in you... Speaking of teenage phobias , I remember just HATING waking up and seeing my digital clock showing anything near 3:15 a.m... a la " The Amityville Horror ". Still think of it at times to this very day . Be careful what you read/ watch though :
The Seeker Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 I went to see Iron Man last night... definitely worth seeing He's no Spidey of course, but I'm starting to get really into those film adaptations of comics.
edna Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Speaking of teenage phobias , I remember just HATING waking up and seeing my digital clock showing anything near 3:15 a.m... a la " The Amityville Horror ". Still think of it at times to this very day . Be careful what you read/ watch though : I would hate to wake up at 6 AM listening to "I Got You" by Sonny and Cher...
Kevin Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 What 'happens' at 6:00 with that song , edna/Farin ?
Kevin Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Well that's OK then , any ghost/spirit that would choose 6:00 am to piss you off would just suck and not be very scary. Groundhound Day is another thing all together - I'd like to give that a try ...
The Seeker Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Hellboy I really liked that one too... only I can do without these mushy love stories everywhere. Now I can go watch the sequel this year.
