Kevin
That's just it though , edna . Many have heard the name at some point point it doesn't stick as it seems so irrelevant in the modern age - making it a good trivia question , imo ! Hi , Soulgirl ! Sweet Jane 61
What does the word "Diva" mean to you? My boss called me one today, and he says he meant it as the fact that I am a star, celebrity, headliner and such. I took as I was like Elton John the biggest Diva in Rock! I explained that when I hear Diva I think of a person who is a little anal and full of themselves. So what do you think of when you hear someone called a "Diva"?? edna
The last two lines of your post are what "diva" mean to me. A "Diva" is actually a female opera singer... they are considered as (and consider themselves) so "divine" that they are just that, "diva". Sweet Jane 61
I knew I was right to take it as an insult in a way! I am so not a "Diva", far from it. More of a hippie/stoner!!
Blue Fish
I take it to mean a really cool, useful, trendy person.....
