edna
I have a long list of real life issues right now that might bitter my days but somehow I´m taking them as a challenge more than a pain in the bleep. I feel like the target in a horror movie or in a video game... I guess time will help to put things in their place -it´s mainly me who has to do that job, time just helps... - and I am missing the days where I could read a book. Thanks for being there, Songfactors...

edna
...of course! and I grow stronger every day... Now, Obama´s victory is making my day... Next time some bleep says anything against "yankees" - that´s how they call Americans in Spanish speaking countries- I´ll tell them about "I Have A Dream"... Oh, that goes on another thread... TheLizard
I threw up and passed out before the party even began last night. All my friends hooked up with girls, and I was lying in my room because I'm an idiot.
The Seeker
You need friends who enjoy getting just as drunk. Getting home might pose a bit of a problem though.
Tenacious_Peaches
Poor TimLizzy. Just think, in 20 years you'll be reminiscing about this betrunken, no girl hooking up with evening as the best time of your life.
Shawna
I threw up and passed out from drinking? if you drank enough to get sick and pass out before the party even got started, maybe it's time to look at your drinking habits. that sounds pretty frightening to me. TheLizard
I definitely need to rethink my drinking habits. I don't remember much leading up to passing out, but the stories I'm hearing sound pretty pathetic. Actually, I just need to rethink my life in general. edna
Tim, I wouldn´t suggest you switched to something different but you´re going to be sick every weekend if you don´t stop drinking and you´ll waste a delicious time. Though Peachy is right when she says in 20 years you'll be reminiscing about this betrunken, no girl hooking up with evening as the best time of your life. I used to drink and get drunk for some two or three years. I remember very little about those days. One day I became allergic to alcohol, thanks god... Ah, those were the days...! Levis
I read there is a newer, more effective deer alert for your car on the market. It involves wiring your horn to your CD player. The kit comes with a CD of Al Pacino screaming at the top of lungs every 15 seconds, "HEY DEERS! WATCH OUT WILL YA! WHADDAYA STUPID OR SUMPIN!" Understand it really works. Just because this is gnawing at me... plural of deer is 'deer', distantdad!
Shawna
Tim, I wouldn´t suggest you switched to something different but you´re going to be sick every weekend if you don´t stop drinking and you´ll waste a delicious time. Though Peachy is right when she says however, there's a difference between drinking every weekend and having a good time, and drinking to the point of hurling and blacking out. The latter suggests a propensity for alcoholism and should be kept in check, if not stopped altogether before it becomes a problem.
The Seeker
Kept in check, yeah, but this is something a lot of people do at that age (18-25 or something), and the vast majority grows out of it. And sometimes it really teaches you a lesson.
Steel2Velvet
Just because this is gnawing at me... plural of deer is 'deer', distantdad! You cut me to the quick, distantdaughter! Could you not hear Mr. Pacino in his "Big Boy" voice screaming at the "deers"? The affectation was for effect.
Levis
Mr. Pacino is allowed to say 'deers', he knows how to tango. As for drinking habits in college students... alcohol may be very cool and all, but there's little that turns me off more than overt drunkeness. Kevin
*Hick !* Shuddup ! If you wanna waste yer college years then that's your funeral . Never again will you be allowed to be a drunken lout in public and just be able to say 'hey ,I'm in college ! ' . Think about it .
Lucky
Most college freshmen go through that at some point, most recover themselves, and are just fine. I don't think I'd fret about it too very much Tim, you're a smart guy.
Kevin
Holy over reactions ,Batman - he got drunk and passed out ( talking about Lizard ,yeah ? ) . Big deal . He's thought about it and doesn't wanna do it again -took me 10 years to come to that conclusion! lol! No need for interventions or big nosey noses ... Back in the day ,Levis , YOU would still be considered a dork and a flopped out drunk a campus 'hero ' of sorts - ah , times have changed ... The Seeker
I don't think times have changed all that much in that regard.
