Jenny
Sorry for being a slacker again....I either had to wait for the computer hog (husband) to give me time or the time hog (daughter) to let me get on the computer. In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins 4. Careless Whisper - Wham! 5. Small Town - JCM 6. It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It) - The Rolling Stones 7. Relax - Frankis Goes to Hollywood 8. Cannonball - The Breeders 9. You Spin Me Round - Dead or Alive 10. Two Princes - Spin Doctors

TheLizard
Wow, Tom Sawyer didn't make it. I guess people are tired of seeing it in the regular Top Ten? Nobody else voted for Funkadelic!
OLD 55
CeeCee was telling me Rush was voted #1 in a "Battle Of The Bands" Poll that her local radio station conducted last Easter (I think). They were never big in Australia.

The Seeker
The moment I read your post It Never Rains In California came on the radio. Let's just hope Careless Whisper won't be next.
Malakin
I think this is honestly the first time I've truly objected to a top ten. I mean.. careless whisper? You guys are serious!? I think I'll just go sob in the corner for a bit, then come back for list 41.. *sob*

Tenacious_Peaches
I think this is honestly the first time I've truly objected to a top ten. I mean.. careless whisper? You guys are serious!? I think I'll just go sob in the corner for a bit, then come back for list 41.. *sob* It will be okay, sweet Malakin. I think you'll feel better if you lay down. I can stroke your hair and sing gently to you to help calm your frayed nerves. To the heart and mind Ignorance is kind There's no comfort in the truth Pain is all you'll find... blind-fitter
I think this is honestly the first time I've truly objected to a top ten. I mean.. careless whisper? You guys are serious!? I think I'll just go sob in the corner for a bit, then come back for list 41.. *sob* I found there were plenty of great tracks to nominate from- I had no trouble coming up with at least ten. However the outcome- this Top 10- borders on frightening. I, too, weep for a world that values Careless Whisper above Born To Lose, Under The Milky Way, Needle in A Haystack and the genius Morrissey. I've just realised that I may be participating in the wrong web-site.
Levis
I like the list even more after seeing the Archive. Oh come ON... when you get a predictable top ten you complain that it's boring and the songs are disproportionately represented. You get one unusual one and you crib that the world is coming to an end. I am yet to come across ANY list ANYwhere which has kept everyone satisfied. Stop whining! c_s_1987
Again I am a little disappointed about the songs from the last 25 years that missed out, and a little disappointed about the songs from the last 25 years that actually made the list (with the exception of Cannonball and In The Air Tonight ). Farin
oh, come on Chris! YOU're the one who has the least rights to complain... why don't you nominate some songs from the last 25 years then?
