The Seeker
Yeah, I know... mad The past few days Britain was hit by the worst snowstorm of the past two decades and I didn't even realise until someone asked me about, because it was just raining as usual up here. MindCrime
We're expecting highs of 80'f, just like yesterday. I'm glad winter if finally over
Earth-Angel
Is it cold or hot in South Africa, and does it get really humid? Depends on where you are as far as humidity goes. It's summer now so it'll get up to mid 30's on the hottest day in my home town, probably about 70-80% humidity. Yeah!!!
RonJonSurfer
16 F this morning. Although I am a well known snow hater, it looked nice this morning. Yesterday's snow was very light and fluffy. It stuck to and piled heavily to all the trees and bushes...it looks like cotton candy applied to everything in sight. Uncle Joe
Same here, Ron. We got 6" here in the city. It looks lovely with all the trees flocked. And fortunately it's a dry, powdery snow. Easy to clear off the car and sidewalk. It's about 20 degrees here but I was out for about an hour and it didn't feel anywhere near that cold. The wind is supposed to kick up later and drop the chill factor but hell, I'm staying in. They say it'll be warm this weekend...upper 50's. Levis
I'm shivering at 19 degrees C right now. Tomorrow is supposed to be 43.
Shawna
we're going from 84 today to the low 60s by the weekend's end. And rainy. Bizarre.
J Hill
Colder than the shoulder of an ice picking lumberjack. I'd say. But the wind has hints of maybe warmer things to come. I know, I know...the tiny, pin-prick of lite I see far-away in the tunnel.....is only the lamp of an on-coming train!

Levis
I'm gonna take this: we're going from 84 today to the low 60s by the weekend's end. And rainy. Bizarre. And top it: Right now, it is 40-43 C (104-109 F) as predicted. Tomorrow they expect a high of 23 C (73.4 F) I cannot believe this city O well, at least there's never a shortage of conversation. edna
It´s very very very cold here... It makes me think the bear is the wisest living being there is. They go to sleep in winter and won´t be up again till spring. I want to be a bear... Let me post again my fave tale... Levis
Met department was wrong! it wasn't 43 C! It was 46.7 and THEN... everyone was waiting 'for the wind to change direction' - I didn't understand what that meant till it actually happened. I swear to you the temperature dropped 15 degrees in ten minutes! It's 28 C here now.
MuzikTyme
It's so cold where I am that I heard a knock at my door and it was an emperor penguin trying to sell me a refrigerator! I was so dumb I bought it! But, that's okay. I sold it a few heart-shaped ice cubes and also refinanced its second mortgage on its igloo!

Lucky
It's cool here, in the low 60's and rain. That's exceptional, almost winter-like, and I love it! I'm going to pretend it's truly winter, make a pot of chili, snuggle down, and watch movies. Sounds wonderful!
