daslied
Sorry. I'm now trying to avoid certain ones like this, where I have a desire to answer yet forget the rest of it...

bazooka
All are by British artists Sorry, ryansgirl. That would be a pretty broad category. All are songs recorded in the Twentieth Century as well, but I was looking for something a touch more specific.
Lucky
I know that two of the four were never released in the UK. Will that take me anywhere?
Rayzor
Same producer? Mickie Most was producing for Animals and Herman's Hermits, but don't know about the other 2. Am I anywhere close?
bazooka
Am I anywhere close? Actually, that's a bullseye ! Mickie Most produced all of these records and many other hits. Your turn, rayzor !

c_s_1987
All I can think of is that they all released self titled albums, but that could be any of hundreds of bands/artists.
Rayzor
almost what I was looking for c... a bit more to it though.
c_s_1987
Heyyyyy... I see they all released their self titled albums in 1974. The year that rock hit its peak. It's a scientific fact.
Rayzor
Yeah! You got it Chris!! I was thinking of Homer Simpson when I noticed it too! Most are their first albums as well! (Not sure about Badfinger, didn't bother to check) You're up!
c_s_1987
You're right, they are all debut albums except for Badfinger. This one should be fairly easy for Australians, but I don't know about everyone else: The Easybeats AC/DC Flash And The Pan Oh, and please don't look on Wikipedia for this one. If you do, it will be too easy. And the answer isn't that they are all Australian.
Rayzor
Well, Chris, this one is really easy for an AC/DC worshipper like myself. I'll leave it for someone who doesn't know their entire history
c_s_1987
True. Hopefully someone with less AC/DC knowledge will also know this.
bazooka
This one should be fairly easy for Australians, but I don't know about everyone else .. Oh, and please don't look on Wikipedia for this one. If you do, it will be too easy .. Hopefully someone with less AC/DC knowledge will also know this. OK. So, I am not now and never have been an Australian. I do possess "less AC/DC knowledge". But I looked it up! (Two out of three ain't bad) Can somebody put this question out of its misery? Lucky
Ok master sir bazooka. I also qualify for two of three above criteria. I however went no where near Wiki for this answer: All 3 groups released songs/albums written and/or produced by Harry Vanda and George Young (who was Malcom & Angus older brother). Did I cover it all?
c_s_1987
Yeah, that's good enough. You just had to mention the Young family connection, or the fact that George Young was involved with all three groups. Next question please.
