I knew this right off from the first name...Bazooka, you are wonderfully witty!

*Calvin Cordozar Broadus' professional name is Snoop Dogg

*Stephen Demetre Georgiou's professional name is Cat Stevens

*Ripton Joseph Hylton's professional name is Eek-A-Mouse

Am I correct, master Bazooka?

The artists of the following songs have something in common:

Suddenly

Gypsy Woman

Secret Agent Man

Karn Evil 9: 1st Impression, Pt. 2

Bazooka, I love the link. Look at what it has to say about our own beloved Songfacts...

They all mention specific locations in the US?

Dancing With Mr. D -

"Hiding in a corner in New York City

Lookin' down a forty-four in West Virginia"

Bite The Bullet -

"There's a bar hall queen

Down in Charlotte town

Carolina Queen"

Tangled Up In Blue -

"So I drifted down to New Orleans

Where I happened to be employed

Workin' for a while on a fishin' boat

Right outside of Delacroix

I lived with them on Montague Street

In a basement down the stairs,

There was music in the cafes at night

And revolution in the air."

Turn The Page -

"On a long and lonesome highway,

East of Omaha"

but yours is fine too

You could have sent me back to the drawing board, edna.

That was an excellent link and deserved 100%.

But I'll keep on chooglin'.

These artists are linked to a famous pair:

[*] Nazareth

[*] The 5th Dimension

[*] Linda Ronstadt

You got it, angel !

But When Will I Be Loved was the Linda Ronstadt cover I had in mind.

I just learned a short while ago that Love Hurts was an Everly Brothers song.

I don't think I've ever heard their original version.

The Everly Brothers could sing anything and make it sound good...

The original and the cover sound pretty similar (minus the guitars), there's a sound clip in the first CD tracklist off Amazon.

I shall have to think a bit about a link question, I'm not particularly good at this - bear with me!

Right, what do these 3 groups have in common, "musically"?

(this will be easy :) )

The Pixies

Fleetwood Mac

Genesis

easy, you say?

"musically", you say?

bazooka will almost admit to being stumped.

Please don't say that Bazooka, makes me think I have made an enormous mistake and am going to be red-faced when all is revealed...

When I say musically, I meant to clarify as Peaches said that they had balding band members, and it did make my original post look very open-ended and unclear.

When I say musically, it is related directly to the music 'collections'.

I have checked again and I believe I am correct...
